I'm Laura Samford and I own CraftTalkToday.com as well as ScrapbookDreamer.com! I've been scrapping for years and am excited to start this new adventure with you. I've been online a long time now in different online communities such as the Forum here at Craft Talk Today. I've met some of the most amazing people and am thrilled to call them friends.

As a crafter and a store owner (both online and brick and mortar), I've come to realize that there are a lot of different areas online to look for information. First you have the manufacturer. Then you have their blog. Then you have their designers who all have blogs. After you get through the blogs and main site, you can look for more information from each on Facebook, My Space and Twitter. That's just for one company! How many companies are there? Well, I don't have a total count but I can tell you it's a lot! Bottom line is that's thousands of places to look online for information.

This brings us to CraftTalkToday.com. Imagine all of that information in one place. One place for Manufacturers to show what's new. One place to find out what the show specials are for CHA. One place for stores to announce coupon codes and specials for shopping as well as telling us all about any special events or calls.

I hope Craft Talk Today can provide a thriving environment for crafting and give everyone the information they need to succeed all in ONE place.
